James Ware Jr. MD.  is the current Medical Director of the Primary Stroke Center at CentraState Medical  Center.  He was previously the Director of Comprehensive and Primary Stroke Centers at Capital Health. 

He completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at New Brunswick.  He completed his Neurology training at Health Science Center at Brooklyn, NY.  He served as Chief Resident in his third year of training. He completed his internship at UMDNJ/NJ  - Medical School,  Newark, NJ.  He is graduate of UMDNJ/NJ Medical School.   He has participated  in research studies in Stroke and Clinical Neurophysiology.  

​He has appeared on several occasions in both radio and TV discussing various topics in Cerebral Vascular Disease. He has been in Neurologic practice for 25 years. He is currently in private practice with Bucks Mercer Neurology , which he founded in 2013. And Caring Neurology which he founded in 2018.  He is board certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology and Vascular Neurophysiology.
